This introductory course is for all level of research administrators looking to understand how project management tools and approaches can support effective research administration.

At this in-person networking event, senior research administrators shared their experiences in developing their careers. Attendees also shared and learned tips to support career development and cultivated beneficial connections in U of T’s research community.
The session slides and tips from research administrators are provided.

The Partnerships team presents the process for engaging with an industry partner, including models for engagement, types of research agreements, and applicable University of Toronto (U of T) policies. The role of the different teams within the Innovations & Partnerships Office and the resources available to researchers and their teams in establishing partnerships are also discussed.

At the University of Toronto, our faculty conduct research that has impacts across a broad range of disciplines. DiscoverResearch is a new online tool to highlight, celebrate and promote our scholars and research experts to help spark discovery, connection, and collaboration. 

This session is an introduction to the upcoming My Research Funds (MRF) system that will replace the current My Research On Line (MROL). The session includes a demo of the new UTRAC (University of Toronto Research Account), which will replace the Funded Research Digest (FReD).
